Protest Trinidad Alcoa

What you can do to fight Alcoa?

  1. Get Informed! Sign up for our newsletter below to get the latest news and forward this information to your e-mail contacts here and abroad.

  2. Support us directly through donations. Next time you visit your bank, consider a donation, big or small to help our cause. We are fighting for you Maraval, Westmoorings, Port of Spain, Chaguanas. This is not a Cedros problem but a Trinidad problem. Our account number at Republic Bank is 970444088101 (Cedros Harmony Community)

  3. Show your support for a better, cleaner Trinidad by putting a "NoSmelterTNT.com"  or "Republic of Cedros" bumper sticker on your vehicle. Click HERE to find out where to get your sticker

  4. Write to your representative and let them know that this smelter is not good for this country. Write letters to the editors of your favourite newspaper and let them know how you feel.

  5. Write to your local press. If you live abroad, write to your local newspaper or forward our press release to your newspaper. We need worldwide support on this. You can find press releases to copy and paste HERE!

  6. Contact any national or international environmental groups and inform them what is about to happen to our small island.

  7. Sue! Know your Rights. The Environmental Management Act of 2000 clearly defines pollution and gives any individual the right to bring action against polluters and people or organizations conspiring to pollute. Read it HERE! (Very important!)
